Dedicated to Excellence

     Melinda McElheny grew up on a farm in rural Kansas and managed teams within various corporations prior to studying law. She graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law with Honors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management & Leadership from Friends University.

     While at MHSL, she served as a law review Managing Editor and won a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Deals and Disputes. She focuses on preventing disputes and helping clients to avoid conflict before it starts.     

     Melinda is licensed in the state of Kansas and is currently inactive in Iowa. She teaches part-time as an Adjunct Professor, and her courses include trial advocacy, legal methods, bar preparation, substantive criminal law, evidence, and employment law. She also serves as a part-time municipal judge, FINRA Arbitrator, and drug treatment court defense counsel. Clients will find her well-versed in many popular televisions series, what's happening at CBS News, KC Chiefs injury reports, and in all news TS+TK.
